Marriage - For Better or Worse?

For better or worse

Iodine can't acquire any better

She can't acquire any worse

Is it any wonderment therefore

Why married couples divorce?

When the joyousness of sexual activity

Is replaced by eternal work

Daily irritants, impatience, and oddities

Grins and giggles with self-satisfied smirks

Regard and congratulations with angry human faces

Tenderness and kindness with disgusting inhuman treatment

Blessings replaced with acrimonious cursing

Forfeit and earnestness with selfishness

Peace and repose with arrant insanity

Manipulation, control, and bullying

Become the reproachable order of the twenty-four hours

As muliebrity digresses to debasement

Anger, rage, and rebellion leading to disaffection

The ego enthroned princess on her exalted high Equus caballus

Enamored with her ain flawlessness and self-exaltation

Emotional fluctuation and eternal inaccurate given

No substance the gala season, ill-mannered rhyme, or stiff ground

Marriage undoubtedly is not for boys, neither is it for wimps

All females have got their ain alone adept bag of fast ones

To seduce, snag, snare, sway, and interruption a adult male

Yet as for me I cannot succumb to such as domination

Neither tin I be brought under by hurtful rejection

Though I be undermined, my psyche stays empyreal

Emasculation I shall not encompass any minute in clip

For I love me, myself, & I and can be perfectly fine.

With or without my nagging, complaining wife

Of course of study she too could do do without me

My imperfectnesses and her accusals about how

I am so messy, though I believe myself to be quite tidy

Nevertheless with a perfectionist 1 always falls short

Therefore this devilish impression of divorcement

By ground of irreconcilable differences

We shall go on to chew over and court

While of each other we make vile sport.
